About Fetching Dreams:
I have always loved animals, and in the summer of 2008 a close friend inspired me to do something to help animals in need. I decided the best way for me to make a difference was to raise money for local no-kill animal shelters. With some help from my family and friends I developed Fetching Dreams. I now make pet toys from recycled or discarded t-shirts and fleece and sell them to raise money for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City and Rolling Dog Ranch.
As a result of the economic crisis, animal shelters have recently been struggling to find the funds necessary to maintain an increasing population of shelter animals. In addition to selling my toys I created this website to increase donations to Rolling Dog Ranch and HSGKC. All donations go directly to the shelter of your choice (firstgiving is a secure, reliable site for making charitable donations). This website is also about learning what Fetching Dreams is, how you can help, and having fun!
